April 2018 - Pimp it up! (reuse or alter something)

Welcome everyone to our April Challenge
Our theme this month is Pimp it up! (reuse or alter something) chosen by the lovely Evelyn

Hello and Happy Easter!
This month it´s my turn to host the new challenge and I want you to "Pimp it up!".

I decided to "pimp up" a notebook. If you want to see all the steps I made (and it was maaaany steps), unwrap your chocolate bunny, grab a cup of coffee and visit my blog.
Have a wonderful day!

Hello everybody,
for our April challenge, I altered a box.
I tried to make a mixed media box with inspiration from Finnabair.
I added laces, cheesecloth, chipboard cutouts, metallic pieces etc. to my box.
You can find more details on my blog.
Thank you!

Hello everyone and a very Happy Easter to you all!

Before you eat all the Easter Eggs, why not pop over to my blog to see how I created it!!

Good morning and happy Easter. I had such fun with this new challenge and it's useful too.

It's a phone holder for my craftroom, as allegedly I lose my phone in there about a hundred times a day. This can't be true as I keep a very tidy craft room (snort's with laughter!).
There are more pictures over on my blog so I would love to see you over there.
Have a very happy April xx

Happy Easter to you all.  Miriam here with my first project for the April challenge.

Pop over to my blog to see how I created this little project.

Hello there! I do hope you can join our new challenge .... it could be just the excuse you were looking for to upcycle something that you use that looks just a bit ordinary ....it certainly got me busy with our trusty coin tin!!!!
Check out what I did here. Hugs rachel x

It's all roses and shabby chic today on my blog with my pimped up frame!

Join me for a cup of roses here and read all the details on how
I transformed this ordinary frame.

Hello everyone,
and Happy Easter ! Today sees the start of a new Challenge of which the theme "Pimp it up", reuse or alter,  was chosen by the lovely Evelyn. I chose to reuse some old book paper for this art journal spread.

I have filmed to process so please HOP (excuse the pun) over to my YouTube Channel HERE or blog HERE where you'll find a link to the video. Or, you can click on the pic below !

I will be back with more inspiration soon !

Happy Easter everyone and there are double celebrations in my house as today is also my birthday!
For the fun theme this month I "pimped up" a little Links box. I wanted to keep a few of my treasured Links charms in it and also reuse a lovely metal star. This came from a Christmas gift tag my son gave to me. It has been sitting on my side waiting for a home and this was an ideal opportunity to use it.
This is my finished box.
It's very hard to show it in one photo so if you would like to see some before and after photos, as well as a step by step of my processes, do hop pop on over to my blog here. I will raise a virtual glass of bubbly to you all today as I celebrate being a year older.
Have a lovely day.
